In my opinion, John Dahlback’s recent delivery of remixes to “Invisible”, “Right There”, and an original masterpieces like, “You’re In My Heart”, all substantiate the fact that he is definitely a prominent name in the progressive house industry. His music generally has a beautiful signature John Dahlback sound to it that is bound to produce an emotional response from the listener- it’s that touching. The preview to his newest remix, “Big”, only reinforces my belief that he only has major success ahead of him and is soon to become a huge influential progressive icon. The combination of Connie Mitchells affecting vocals and the drop at 38 seconds will make you understand why. Additionally, I am including a download link to “Senses”, a track that Dahlback and Henrik B collaborated on. The beginning half of the song sounds more like John Dahlback, and then the drop gives the listener more of … Read more
As a follow-up to my brother’s recent Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel remix to “Dangerous”, I’m posting a remix to the same song by Firebeatz, a rising producer from the Netherlands. Although the remix that my brother posted is an absolute bomb, this one could very well contend. The drop at 2:47 is an incredible electro sound coupled with white noise. Enjoy!
As one of the most respected and well known producers in the progressive house industry, John Dahlback has certainly shown his true colors after launching his very own record label, Mutant Records, and after successfully releasing anthem after anthem this past year. His latest masterpiece, “You’re In My Heart”, combines touching lyrics, Andy P’s talented vocals, and my favorite part- the moving drop at 4:33, that come together to create a truly beautiful track that showcases Dahlback’s ability to tell a story within his music. I also want to point out that this year, Dahlback has deservingly been credited to rock the main stage at Electric Zoo, and I have no doubt that he will not disappoint. Basically, I love John Dahlback, and this track is amazing. I also included Promise Land’s remix, a solid track made for the dance floor.
Out now on Confidence Records, Al Bizzare comes out with their newest single- “Desire”. Each edit of the song combines electro with some progressive house, and in the original mix, a little bit of dubstep- a track perfect for the dance floor. Personally, my favorite edit is the club mix. What’s yours?
After recently releasing his banging remix of “Ashes” by Eva, Chuckie has released his newest track, a remix to “Buy My Love” by Wynter Gordon. As opposed to most of the progressive remixes done to this song, Chuckie adds in a little of his own style and by installing his signature dirty dutch sound- a track sure to be a success at any rave. Enjoy!
Released under Guetta’s fifth and highly anticipated dual album are his two newest club hits: “Glasgow” and “Paris”. Not that there had been any doubt before, but after coming out with such a variety of music this past year, it is absolutely clear why Guetta is ranked the 2nd best DJ in the world. Most commonly known for his collaborations with Afrojack, (“Lunar”) and Avicii (“Sunshine”), Guetta constantly delivers in every one of his tracks, never failing to showcase his diverse and flawless production abilities. Whether its progressive or acid house, this true house veteran undoubtedly knows how to please a crowd. These two tracks I’m posting now are similar in that they’re both unbelievable bangers, but with completely different styles. “Glasgow” is more of an acid-house crowd pleaser that can be listened to from beginning to end, and “Paris”, a massive tune as well, consists of pounding baselines … Read more
Following his extremely successful remix of “Bangduck” and “Never Will Be Mine”, Moguai presents to us another remix of Benyonce’s “Best Thing I Never Had”. The buildup is graced with Beyonce’s enchanting voice, followed by a surprisingly hard drop at 3:38. This one’s definitely a banger- Enjoy!
Put simply, Lazy Rich has not ever and probably will never release a track that is anything less than excellent. The dubstep/electro house genius does a beautiful job on this remix- one with an intense buildup followed by a drop consisting of warped noises and banging electro sounds. This song is made for a rave- one can only imagine what a track like this would do to a crowd. Although this song is fairly old, if you haven’t heard it yet- it’s a must listen. For all you electro house heads, this song is a mustmustMUST download!! ENJOY!
The highly anticipated remixes of “You Found Me” have officially officially come out via Paradise Records. Promise Land provides a progressive beauty that is made to make you feel good (and is my personal favorite remix). Hard Rock Sofa releases a different kind of remix entirely, showcasing their signature rich sound along with a brilliant piano lead. Make sure to download both remixes! Enjoy!
