Part of what left me so bitterly disappointed with Skrillex’s remix of Levels (register & login to view link) was that, arguably being of the few artists to have a bigger year than Avicii, and with bags and bags of talent, he was the perfect choice to remix probably the most popular song of the year, and failed to deliver. Bangarang simply confirms what I predicted in my extensive review of Creamfields 2011, regarding the fact that if Skrillex continued to blend electro-house, dubstep, drum and bass, and everything in-between, he would be simply unstoppable.
