Las Vegas, Nevada– Insomniac Events will infuse inspiration from the Las Vegas Strip into the imaginative environment of the 16th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) by curating a one-of-a-kind artistic collaboration between Blue Man Group and Steve Aoki. Due to production challenges surrounding the Lot at AT&T Park, the I LOVE THIS CITY electronic festival happening Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26 will now take place at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA.
By moving to Shoreline Amphitheatre, I LOVE THIS CITY is able to extend the event to 11:30 pm each night. Patrons 16 and over are now welcome.
Afrojack and Sebastian Ingrosso will now join Tiësto, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and more than 40 of the best artists in EDM confirmed for this Northern California event on three stages throughout Shoreline Amphitheatre. “I Love This City”, the house festival taking place in San Francisco on May 25th and 26th, has just released its Phase 2 lineup. The biggest house festival in North California will now headline with Steve Aoki, Duck Sauce, Chuckie, Datsik, and James Murphy on Friday. There will also be a very special guest for Friday announced on Monday, May 7th.
On Saturday, the festival will feature Tiesto, David Guetta, Madeon, Laidback Luke, Excision, and Feed Me. This festival has an absolute powerhouse of a lineup, and I am extremely excited to hear all of the sets played.

Steve Aoki has long been associated with all aspects of the EDM scene. Club promotions, remixes, label head, producer, A&R… I could go on. His Dim Mak Records has released some of the biggest electro-house tracks over the last few years, and 2012 looks to be the year he becomes a household name.
The first thing to note is that this is an incredibly diverse album, ranging from trance and electro to dubstep and punk, and many fans may find this frustrating. Most commonly known for featuring in Tomorrowland’s 2011 anthem “The Way We See The World”, the Nervo sisters are back again as aspiring DJ’s and producers. The twins have written lyrics for artists like The Pussycat Dolls, David Guetta, Kesha, and more- and this time, the Australian team have collaborated with Dutch house music genius Afrojack, and Steve Aoki. This track might catch many of you by surprise- its nothing like Afrojack & Steve Aoki’s usual hard hitting tune. Great track by two of the biggest names in electronic music. Afrojack in his early 20′s has became one of the best DJs out there, producing dutch house to rap tracks for lil wayne & chris brown. Steve Aoki the owner of dim mak records has put on some of the craziest shows known to electric music seen, that also have a strong rock vibe. This epic team of talented producers have come together to create a mega hit called “no beef”. Electric Daisy Carnival is an annual electronic dance music festival held on the last weekend of June in Southern California from 1997 to 2010, and in Las Vegas in 2011. In recent years, satellite events have been held in Dallas, Puerto Rico and Colorado.
