We see tracks come and go all the time, but Strobe by Deadmau5 is definitely one of the timeless ones. I think the same can be said for the artist, but I’m bringing a few others into the spotlight today. Deadmau5 is a difficult one to remix, with his flawless sound engineering and minimalist approach to melody & harmony. There are a ton out there, including an entire iTunes album, but I’d call these the 3 best remixes of Strobe:
Redial has released the latest Strobe remix – one of the few to be taken down in tempo. I never thought the original theme could take on the sort of swagger you find in good moombahcore, but the drop in this one makes me want to put aviators & a nastier looking face … Read more

R3hab does an excellent job on this track. He starts off on his typical route but then adds a halloweenish synth that fits Porcelains vocals perfect. This remix should have been released in October for halloween since r3hab states on his sound cloud it was a remix he created in August. Ether way the remix is fire and does justice to Porcelain Blacks career.
After Tommy Trash‘s massive remix to the killer colab by Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party. We now have Dada Life and Angger Dimas’ remixes to another crazy colab Prutataaa between Dutch mastermind Afrojack, and up and comer DJ R3hab. Keeping in tune with the original, both artists keep the banger mentality in mind with their mixes. Dada Life‘s remix maintains their crazy electro style and drops a track that is nothing short of fantastic. Angger Dimas’ remix is an absolute killer, my favorite of the two, it sounds insane. The electro-house tendencies in this track go even as far as to out pace Dada Life‘s, in my opinion these … Read more
Right of his latest release Sex, Drugs, and Rock N Roll a few days ago. Tommy Trash dropped his killer remix to Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party‘s massive track Antidote. Keeping in line with his usual heavy style, Tommy Trash past releases such as his remix to Alive and his own track The End, influences can be heard through out the remix. This heavy Electro track is as with Zedd best dropped with other Electro tracks of its style, preferably just before one with a little less kick.
In my opinion, John Dahlback’s recent delivery of remixes to “Invisible”, “Right There”, and an original masterpieces like, “You’re In My Heart”, all substantiate the fact that he is definitely a prominent name in the progressive house industry. His music generally has a beautiful signature John Dahlback sound to it that is bound to produce an emotional response from the listener- it’s that touching. The preview to his newest remix, “Big”, only reinforces my belief that he only has major success ahead of him and is soon to become a huge influential progressive icon. The combination of Connie Mitchells affecting vocals and the drop at 38 seconds will make you understand why. Additionally, I am including a download link to “Senses”, a track that Dahlback and Henrik B collaborated on. The beginning half of the song sounds more like John Dahlback, and then the drop gives the listener more of … Read more
Twenty-three year old music prodigy, Hardwell, is supported by the world’s most respected DJ’s like Tiesto- and with good reason. This past year has been huge for him: he created hit tracks like “Encoded”, “Zero 76″, and most recently, his hit remix of “Louder”. Hardwell is also best known for his unique music style- a certain combination of house and trance, and a style that many other producers have adopted as well. Hardwell’s signature piano sound is very well showcased in his new remix, “In The Air”, which includes an Avicii-esque buildup that drops into a wonderfully feel-good progressive masterpiece- yet another remix that perfectly reflects Hardwell’s talents. This remix is set to release via Nettwek Music soon. Until then, enjoy this preview!
Size Records respected duo, Third Party, have been killing it lately with track after track: their remixes to “Save The World”, “I Believe In”, etc., have all paved the way for the team to rise rapidly in the music industry. This time, they collaborate with Mike Klash, to create an awesome remix to Denzal Park’s “Militia”. To describe this song in short- the somewhat dark buildup gives you a a clear idea of what you’re about to hear- and when it drops at 1:30, it drops HARD. Enjoy!!!
