When I first saw the name 1234, I immediately thought of Martin Solveig‘s classic track bearing the same name. Thus when I saw Laidback Luke and Solveig were in this different iteration I was pleasantly surprised.
Headlining 1234 is Laidback Luke with is incredible housey sound, flanked by Martin Solveig and Chuckie. They manage to blend their separate and distinct styles, into lethal cocktail of Electro and House.

As you will have noticed, no matter where you are in the world, over the past week Miami has caught dancing fever. Here at FromDJs4DJs we’ve followed it every step of the way. We’ve brought you ALL the sets, ALL the events, and ALL the action. Now, in the first of a few similar posts in which we’ll take an in depth look at some of the music played, I’ve meticulously trawled the interwebz for the most talked about, blogged about, tweeted about and generally most highly anticipated songs to come out of MMW/WMC/UMF. These tracks are hot. I mean really hot. They are sure fire bets for anthems that will form the soundtrack of a typical EDM lover’s Summer. I’m not saying they’re all here, but this is my hand picked list, and these seem to have the biggest buzz of any unreleased tracks from the week. Enjoy, and … Read more

From the owner ofMixmash Recordscomes the much-anticipatedTrilogy,in collaboration with two of the hottest talents in EDM right now.Laidback Luke,Norman DorayandArno Costhave crafted this perfect example of how to conduct a collaboration properly, with Norman Doray’s trademark synths, Arno Cost’s epic build up and drop, and Luke’s standard pounding bass, drums and intricate musical riffs. First played by Norman Doray atTomorrowlandlast year under the working title Yummie, this is definitely a track you don’t want to sleep on!
So, I have just returned to cold England from a 3 week tour of Ibiza and Morocco, where I was doing some DJing and some relaxing, and a lot of partying!!! It was an awesome time, and I’ve got 5 tracks here that are the staple of many amazing nights out for me! They are what Coming Home (Dirty South Remix) was to UMF earlier this year. I’m sure there are more, but these are the ones that really stuck out for me!!! (read as: the ones I remember).
The opposite of discreet, this song has a rocking bassline and rocking drums that sound absolutely MASSIVE! The title is perfect, because it really sounds like a rock/EDM cross-over. You might have also heard Avicii playing this one with We Are Your Friends by Justice vs … Read more
