Ah, to live in New York City, an EDM-lover’s paradise. In the summer, in terms of the sheer volume of great DJs and parties that roll through, it’s as close as an American can get to Ibiza without needing a passport. Now, to suggest that New York’s dance scene is just a numbers game with C-List DJs every night is somewhat blasphemous, as the quality of these events exceeds expectation, with at least one legendary DJ every weekend. Saturday Night at Governor’s Island, Made Event brought in not one, but TWO legendary DJs, the grammy-nominated Danny Tenaglia and DJ Mag Top 100 Poll winner from 2001 John Digweed. Anchored by local house scenesters Sleepy & Boo and techno connoisseurs Pleasurekraft, it was an event that was not to be missed.

Made Event is bringing another installment to their already stacked Governor’s Island lineup this summer. On  August 11^th John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia will take over the decks at this summer hot spot. But they will not be coming alone, dance masters Pleasurekraft and Sleepy & Boo will also be on the lineup.

Electric Daisy Carnival, originally a product of California is setting up shop on the east coast and in Las Vegas. Insomniac and Pacha New York have joined forces to bring the traveling version of EDC to Las Vega and  the tri-state area. EDC NYC will take place at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on May 19 & 20 and FromDJs4DJs.com will give you an early look at the lineup.

The lineup for the 2-day fest will include: Afrojack, Alesso, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Art Department, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, R3HAB, Thomas Gold and Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss).
