Miike Snow – Devil’s Work (Dirty South Remix) (register & login to view link)
The Australian legend has came up with a new remix to Miike Snow’s “Devil’s Work.” This track has been showcased in a bunch of sets in the past couple of months (I heard it when Dirty South played it at Santos Party House during his “Secret Concert”), but it was finally officially released this week. Check out the official version of this banger!

Michael Brun & Special Features – Synergy (register & login to view link)
The man who produced “Rise” which was made even more popular by Dirty South’s remix is back with a vengeance. This time partnering up with Special Features, he has produced a track with fast paced, high tempo build up followed by a drop with slower paced, but heavier sounds. Check this song out!

Following his very impressive set at Ultra Music Festival, what does the Aussie legend Dirty South decide to do? Surprise his beloved fans in New York City with a free show. Taking place at Santos Party House, the show started at 8 PM with DJ Huge Euge opening the night. I got the chance to speak with him for a bit after his set (my interview with him can be found at the end of this article). After Huge Euge got the crowd pumped, Fareoh, the producer of the hit song “2012″, rocked the booth. Finally, at about 10:30 PM, it was time for the main event.
When Dirty South took the stage the crowd went wild. What I loved about this crowd is that every single person there was a die-hard Dirty South fan (no posers allowed). His set was very synonymous of the … Read more
As you will have noticed, no matter where you are in the world, over the past week Miami has caught dancing fever. Here at FromDJs4DJs we’ve followed it every step of the way. We’ve brought you ALL the sets, ALL the events, and ALL the action. Now, in the first of a few similar posts in which we’ll take an in depth look at some of the music played, I’ve meticulously trawled the interwebz for the most talked about, blogged about, tweeted about and generally most highly anticipated songs to come out of MMW/WMC/UMF. These tracks are hot. I mean really hot. They are sure fire bets for anthems that will form the soundtrack of a typical EDM lover’s Summer. I’m not saying they’re all here, but this is my hand picked list, and these seem to have the biggest buzz of any unreleased tracks from the week. Enjoy, and … Read more

Rise (Dirty South Edit) – Michael Brun (register & login to view link)
Rise is the latest release off of Dirty South’s Phazing label, by 19 year old Haitian up and comer Michael Brun. The track builds steadily into a rousing, synth-led drop that is reminiscent of much progressive house being put out at the moment. Not immediately noticeable as a stand-out track amongst the plethora of records currently being released in anticipation of the culmination of EDM events occurring over the next month, Rise’s strengths lie in its smartly crafted layers and its well written leads, and of course, its raw energy.
For a style not overly similar to Dirty South’s back catalogue, this is a smart signing for his label, as Michael Brun, at the young age of 19, looks set to become a big player in the progressive house scene over the next year or … Read more

Fairfax/Rypamont – Jeremy Olander
As I mentioned in my previous post reviewing Creamfields Festival 2011, I caught Jeremy Olander (register & login to view link) open the Pryda Friends Tent (register & login to view link) at 2pm. I also mentioned that he had some big tracks that were in the pipeline – and here they are!!! Signed to the Eric Prydz label imprint – Pryda Friends – Jeremy Olander is one of the rising stars of Swedish house music, combining his signature heavy underground sound with melodious compositions that are mesmerising to say the least. Probably best known for the track Airsteala, a thumping, hypnotic number that received a remix nod from Dirty South himself, Jeremy Olander is back with a double release that features plenty of very heavy drops and deep bass, not to mention some amazing horns towards the climax of Rypamont! These two … Read more

From the openers to the closers, there was something in there for everyone.… Read more
