Good things come to those who wait. Or so they say. Unfortunately, with records the opposite seems to be true. The most hyped albums, with the longest waiting times and the most anticipation (think Guns N’ Roses‘ Chinese Democracy, or The Detox by Dr. Dre, which we all know is bound to be disappointing to some degree) are often the biggest let downs. On first listen of Max Vangeli and AN21′s People Of The Night, this appears to be the case, with the quality of individual tracks not reflecting the long two years it took to make the album. This is further compounded by the fact that, on the whole, the duo’s previous work such as Swedish Beauty, their remix of On Melancholy Hill and Gama appear to be of superior quality to the work showcased here on POTN.
However, the album does benefit … Read more

Last week we had the pleasure of interviewing Rocco Rampino better known by the alias Congorock. The Italian born producer who currently resides in LA these days spends his time working in his studio making the freshest beats. We were lucky to have some one-on-one time with the busy man who let us into his life and filled us in on what the future has in store. He is currently on tour in North America showcasing his new remix EP for “Ivory” (Check out our pre coverage: “Congrorock’s North American Tour“) If you don’t know anything about electronic music or have been hiding under a rock this past year and are not familiar with Congorock, then you need to read this article and check him out!

Creamfields 2011 Review
Well, I’ve been hearing all about Electric Zoo over the past week, and it sounded insane! However, I’m just going to do a quick review/report on arguably Europe’s biggest dance music festival – Creamfields.
Leaving home at around 5am on Friday morning, I suffered through the rain, the mud, the wet tent and sleeping bag, all for you guys, to bring you quality journalism. And of course the music. Well, what can be said about the music? Firstly, the line up speaks for itself (http://creamfieldsfestival.co.uk/creamfields-line-up-2009-creamfields-tickets/ (register & login to view link)). From the openers to the closers, there was something in there for everyone.… Read more

The Italian genius who created “Babylon” has been quiet for a little while now and has finally risin up to give us one HELL of a track. Congorock specialized in remixes this past year, releasing massive remixes to Benny Benassi’s “Electroman”, & “Cinema”, as well as huge remixes to Swedish House Mafia’s infamous “One”, & Mark Ronson’s “Somebody To Love Me”. Congorock has that hard-hitting drop attitude and falls nothing short of it on his latest release “Sirius”. The drop sounds similar to Zedd’s sound in his “Save The World” remix, however, Congorock adds several other elements like continuous snare drums and high pitched electro synths that build so aggressively into his JAW GRINDING DROP! ENJOY!

Rihanna ft. Will.I.Am- Photographs (Chew Fu 35mm Fix) (register & login to view link) Perfect song to get the party going. Not fast and not too slow either, with nice electro beats. Rihanna & Will.I.Am’s voices flow perfectly with this chilled out fun track.

His name is Skrillex, I think already deserving to be top 10 Dj in the world because of his Dubstep dominance that Deadmau5 discovered. Skrillex is in my opinion a revolutionary in the Dubstep genre and makes it a LOT easier for non Dupstep fans to really appreciate how much genius can go into one song. I have too much to show you so im hitting you guys with another 11 songs today and an amazing bonus track, ENJOY!
Skrillex- My Name Is Skrillex (register & login to view link) I think this is the perfect introduction to Skrillex for those of you who do not know him by now he is a Dubstep GOD! The way he turns hardcore electro beats into actual melodies amazes me every time I play a track from this guy. Deadmau5 discovered him and invited him to go on tour with him and that … Read more
