Due to production challenges surrounding the Lot at AT&T Park, the I LOVE THIS CITY electronic festival happening Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26 will now take place at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA.
By moving to Shoreline Amphitheatre, I LOVE THIS CITY is able to extend the event to 11:30 pm each night. Patrons 16 and over are now welcome.
Afrojack and Sebastian Ingrosso will now join Tiësto, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and more than 40 of the best artists in EDM confirmed for this Northern California event on three stages throughout Shoreline Amphitheatre. The production will include a full massive experience including multiple art installations, over 4,000 sq. ft of LED screens, and over 80 of Vau De Vire Society’s most talented acrobats, aerialists, contortionists and burlesque performers.

When I first saw the name 1234, I immediately thought of Martin Solveig‘s classic track bearing the same name. Thus when I saw Laidback Luke and Solveig were in this different iteration I was pleasantly surprised.
Headlining 1234 is Laidback Luke with is incredible housey sound, flanked by Martin Solveig and Chuckie. They manage to blend their separate and distinct styles, into lethal cocktail of Electro and House.
“I Love This City”, the house festival taking place in San Francisco on May 25th and 26th, has just released its Phase 2 lineup. The biggest house festival in North California will now headline with Steve Aoki, Duck Sauce, Chuckie, Datsik, and James Murphy on Friday. There will also be a very special guest for Friday announced on Monday, May 7th.
On Saturday, the festival will feature Tiesto, David Guetta, Madeon, Laidback Luke, Excision, and Feed Me. This festival has an absolute powerhouse of a lineup, and I am extremely excited to hear all of the sets played.

Electric Daisy Carnival, originally a product of California is setting up shop on the east coast and in Las Vegas. Insomniac and Pacha New York have joined forces to bring the traveling version of EDC to Las Vega and the tri-state area. EDC NYC will take place at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on May 19 & 20 and FromDJs4DJs.com will give you an early look at the lineup.
The lineup for the 2-day fest will include: Afrojack, Alesso, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Art Department, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, R3HAB, Thomas Gold and Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss).

This one mans rise to the top of EDM through his damaging use of signature sound “Dirty Dutch” is simply remarkable. In 2011, Chuckie released track after track of absolute bangers (What Happens In Vegas, Who Is Ready To Jump, Mutfakta) and a whole gang of remixes (way to0 many to name, highlights include his remix of Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds, his We Found Love remix, and Kelly Rowland’s Down For Whatever). This original track is no different, featuring a huge build up of vocals, piano chords and 4/4 kicks, hanging in suspense before dropping in to a mind melting bass driven beat, featuring his Dirty Dutch electro bleeps that we all know and love. As part of an initiative between Twitter, HP and Intel, to promote new products from each of them respectively, plus Tiësto’s new series “In The Booth“, premiering on YouTube on the 17th of January, Tijs became the first artist ever to be part of Twitter’s live streaming service. Although not a massive fan of him myself (lack of stage presence, unsurprising and unimaginative set IMO), I know he has a huge fanbase, so, just for you guys, here is the set he performed at XS in Vegas to enjoy.
