Hard Rock Sofa has released their latest track on Axtone. This song has been played in many Axwell sets, and also in Swedish House Mafia’s set at Madison Square Garden. ”Quasar” is one of Hard Rock Sofa’s best tracks yet, and is yet another massive released for Axtone this year.

Must Be The Feeling (Original Mix) (register & login to view link)
I have been playing both the original mix and the remix of this brilliant Nero track for a few weeks now. The original is really funky and rich in nice vocal layering and choppy, slapping bass lines. It is brilliant for gigs where big room house is not the order of the day, but alternative, bassy, party tunes are. Highly recommended.
The Funkagenda remix will leave you speechless if you play it from start to finish. This is not surprising really, when one considers Funkagenda’s canon of work, stretching from the classic Man With The Red Face with tech-house legend Mark Knight, to working with the Black Eyed Peas on hits such as I Gotta Feeling. Building up with relentlessly driving bass and vocal samples galore, Funkagenda ratchets up the tension to breaking point, when becomes … Read more

Million Voices (Original Mix) (register & login to view link)
Otto Knows, a key player on the Swedish house scene, has marked his ascent to the top of a distinct and hugely talented group of youngsters coming out of Europe in 2011. Million Voices is a rousing, inspiring record that features the anthemic chants of children, backed by euphoric chords that lend it an air of grandiose rarely heard in EDM. Having already released his massive bootleg of Imogen Heap‘s classic Hide and Seek, and collaborated with Avicii (under his Tim Berg pseudonym) and Oliver Ingrosso on progressive bangers such as iTrack and Loopede, Otto Knows quickly made a name for himself with trademark breaks of tranquil piano melodies, building up into ecstatic and exhilarating periods of sheer musical pleasure and adrenaline. It is big room, feel good house at its best.
Million Voices is no different. It … Read more

Hey everyone! I’d like to start and apologize for not posting for so long! I’ve been working on some of my own stuff as well as some behind the scenes things for FromDJs4DJs and I haven’t had many chances to post. But today I came across this absolute GEM!!! Any Kaskade and Skylar Grey song is going to be automatically insane. But Feenixpawl’s remix just completely blew me away! A progressive banger with impressive vocal builds and a big room/festival quality that will leave you hitting repeat! There isn’t much more I can really say.. go check this out!!

This past Saturday (Feb 4th) brought DJ/Producer Alex Kenji to Santos Party House joined by John Hamilton. Opening the night, John Hamilton, who recently released his latest mix Panther (register & login to view link), warmed up the packed crowd with big beats. The NYC based DJ was going so hard that unbeknownst to partygoers, he cut his finger on the mixer and continued playing seamlessly, despite bleeding. Who said deejaying wasn’t physical?!

Fire – Adrian Lux & Lune (register & login to view link)
I have followed with great interest both Adrian Lux and Lune‘s careers since the very beginning, and have been amazed by the quick progress they’ve made. Lune, for those of you that may not know, is the unique, beautifully haunting voice that became world famous for singing those now-eternal words, “We don’t sleep when the sun goes down, we don’t waste no precious time, all my friends in the loop, making up for teenage crime”. Of course most of you will instantly recognise these words from Adrian Lux’s break-through hit, Teenage Crime, that was remixed (or remoded) to massively damaging effect by Axwell and Henrik B. Both the remix and the original mix are still considered classics, and have cemented these two artists places in their respective fields. Lune has gone on to release the … Read more

Nicky Romero – Generation 303 (register & login to view link)
Arguably this years biggest EDM star already, Nicky Romero has been prolific in his output of consistently brilliant remixes, edits and remixes. Kicking it all off was last years most bootlegged tracked, Romero’s remix of Flash, by Green Velvet. He followed that up with his first major original release on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records, with the title we all know well now, Camorra. At this point, people really began to sit up and take notice of this young Dutchman, who followed up Camorra with major remixes of David Guetta and Usher’s Without You, and then Alesso’s Titanium. He capped off an already outstanding 2011 with another original track, arriving at our ears under the title Toulouse. Combining his anthemic and euphoric synths with hard, electro drops, Romero was quickly making a name for … Read more

Over the past year John Dahlback has blessed us with many Progressive House jewels. From his remix to Skylar Grey’s Invisible, to his single You’re in my Heart, and now he released another single named Escape. Escape is beautiful progressive track, with the usual slow build up, it eventually plateaus in a very euphoric form. So with much excitement, I give you John Dahlback’s Escape.

Swedish House Mafia just confirmed that this track they’ve been playing at their shows is in fact one of their own songs. Keep an eye out of this song, it’s another SHM gem.

I caught wind of the passing of DJ Solomon from a post from fellow deejay – DJ Spider – that read:
Just heard the awful news about Solomon Kahn passing away, so sad, I can not believe it. He was one of the nicest, smartest, most genuine guys I’ve ever met. Solomon did everything for the right reasons. A DJs DJ. He loved helping people out and had a raw passion for DJing. I had just talked to him on the phone recently for a few hours. He was one of the first people I met up in San Francisco when I travelled to dj there. Solomon was a great person and will be missed. My thoughts and love go out to him, his family and friends.
