Apologies firstly for not posting on thursday, I have actually been away…. Im going to do a double post this coming week to make up for it so you’ll have something great to look forward to! Anyhow- as a producer, and a DJ I know how much acapellas can make a difference! To me they are like gold dust, especially getting original oldies that dont sound like they have been recorded on an aeroplane! Well.. Nick Fenmore and Dick Fink formed one of the most upcoming mash up groups called Super Mash Bros. These guys were a big hit in L.A and are now getting known worldwide. They mix some of the unexpected songs together, and somehow make it sound unbelievable. These guys are the next Girltalk and according to some are more talented. I posted some of their best songs, but in my opinion every song sounds good. Let me know what you think, and I know your going to be very impressed.

The sound of hip hop as we know it today is much different than how it sounded in its early beginnings in the late 70’s. The metamorphosis from soul and funk music is a journey in time to when rappers, which then were referred to as MC’s, strictly wanted to have the flyest rhymes. Even the crowds of people were much different, they just wanted to dance and have a good time; there was no such thing as “bottle service”. The sounds that were emerging from the Bronx during that time were nothing like anyone had heard before.
