Bio:
Born and raised in NY, David surrounded himself by music and technology. Always passionate about Dance music, he found his love for House & Electronic Music on a summer trip to Mykonos, Cyprus, Turkey, & Ibiza. During College at University of Miami, he picked up DJing and soon found himself playing at clubs in South Beach, NYC, LA, and clubs around the world. Today he is a computer consultant, online marketer, professional DJ, and founder of FromDJs4DJs.com residing in the beautiful Miami, Florida!
How FromDJs4DJs.com was created:
It all started with the passion and constant dedication to sharing my music with others. I wanted to create an easy music sharing platform as well as create a portal and community for DJs alike. Originally, a 4Shared account (register & login to view link) was created in April 2009 and was linked to my personal website (register & login to view link) which received around 80,000 downloads and brought 150-200 unique hits to my site/day (a good trick for all of you out there!). It needed to be easier and more stream-lined, so I launched the ORIGINAL (register & login to view link)blog, which failed. Finally, I discovered WordPress (register & login to view link), and that’s where it all took off! With the help, dedication, and passion of other DJs from around the world, the site blossomed and grew rapidly in popularity. There has been over 1,500 dedicated hours of work and coding into the site which is why it looks as it does today! Everything was done, unpaid, in the wee hours of the night, with the constant motivation of comments and feedback we received daily. So we thank you (yes YOU reading this right now) for supporting us through the years and helping us become one of the best Electronic Music Blogs for DJs and music lovers around the world!
