John Hamilton delivers on his latest mix: Blue & White
There must be something in the water at NYU, something that produces great DJ’s. Mark Ronson, Jesse Marco, DJ Theory, and John Hamilton are just a few of those who have drank this proverbial ‘NYU water’.
Of those, John Hamilton is currently a senior and living large with gigs staggered across top venues in New York such as Lavo, Santos Party House, Gansevoort Park Hotel, and Webster Hall. Beyond New York City, the 21-year old DJ is slated to play in London, Brussels, Paris, Chicago, and Miami. Hamilton is a Audio Engineering & Business major whose musical talents have graduated to the top of the class in his latest mix: Blue & White. I had the opportunity to catch up with John Hamilton and sample Blue & White.
I focused mainly on the more emotional, musically driven tracks, rather than … Read more

Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker (Preview) Dada Life
Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker (Preview) – Dada Life (register & login to view link)
Dada Life gives us another preview of a banger they have getting ready for release. Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker is even harder hitting than their previous releases, and sounds like it could be one of Dada Life‘s better tracks, which is impressive seeing as they have released some seriously sweet songs lately. As always, they work some humor into their preview, and then end it with a short preview of the drop. Watch the video and let’s hope they release this track soon. Enjoy.

This track, Love Comes Again, is made by a match made in heaven. Hardwell and Tiesto have worked togethether in the past, one of their most recent tracks, Zero 76 was a complete killer on the dancefloor. Tiesto, as the veteran paves the way for Hardwell, the 23 year old phenom. Hardwell tightens up the track Love Comes Again to give it a breathy, more trance feel. ENJOY!

This ID has been floating around for a while, but here is an HQ Rip of the track by Avicii and Nicky Romero to help ease us into the real release of the track. The ID has been called “Fuck School”, a title which I think many of us agree with. This version features the vocals from “D.A.N.C.E.” by Justice, which add a nice touch to the track. This is going to be a sweet song and I cannot wait for the full release. Download and enjoy.

Ten weeks ago today I received a message from a friend at Universal Music Group, telling me to check out David Berrie at Santos Party House. This was the first week of Corona Light’s Electric Beach series – a weekly Saturday evening party at Santos Party House, bringing talented DJ’s to one of New York City’s most unique venues.
As for that initial party, David Berrie took to the turntables with a packed crowd on hand. Good beats were flowing for hours, setting the tone for what has become one of the city’s most energetic parties. To those who’ve been in attendance, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
If you missed the first of the Electric Beach series because you were busy hopping from your college friend’s birthday to your camp friend’s birthday, well you’re in luck. David Berrie will be headlining at Santos this Saturday (November 26… Read more

DJ Danny Gee
LISTEN TO DJ DANNY GEE’S MONTHLY “HOUSE SESSION PODCAST” : djdannygee.podhoster.com (register & login to view link)
When children play alone it is said that a keen eye should over see them…..especially when they are an only child….. around these parts, we end up idolizing these kind of children, those are the kind that end up making history. DJ Danny Gee grew up an only-child until the age of 15 when his little sister was born, so he saw the world differently than most, in a unique fashion, opposite of those that are swarming with older siblings, toy’s and play dates to quiet them. Their vision of the world is so much more intense and their creativity seems limitless. These sort of children are the kind that we later find out carried a cassette recorder around with them consistently, taping late night sessions airing from … Read more
