Hearing this song on “Egestion Sessions 808″ really surprised me. I knew the Swedish House Mafia remix of “Every TearDrop is A Waterfall” was coming out and supposed to be the best remix, but Jerry Rekonius’s remix could very well contend. Rekonius has done pretty solid work in the progressive field with remixes to “Blue” by Eiffel 65, “Coscindo” by Wolfgang Gartner, and a bootleg to SHM’s “One” called “One Nation Army”. There are lots of incredible and moving harmonies going through this song with incredible strings. Definitely a gem, don’t miss out, ENJOY!
Coming off his recent remix of Wolfgang’s “Forever”, and classy original mix with Richard Dinsdale “Edge Of The Earth”, Hook N Sling is teaming up again with Goodwill. The last time these two Australians teamed up, they released “BLOW UP” off Axtone records, which in my opinion is one of the best tracks of 2011. They’re remix far exceeded any other remix of “Blow Up”, including Axwell & Thomas Gold’s remix. “Take You Higher” is a sample taken off an original track of Angus & Julia Stone called “Big Jet Plane”. The track just has so many feel good elements to it from the vocals, to the strings, feels like your being lifted into heaven, ENJOY!
It has been 3 years since Lazy Rich has been in the studio and he has had more releases than some producers, who have been in the studio for their entire careers. Don’t let his name fool you, Lazy Rich releases are mostly top chart hits that are played by many big names such as David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg & Judge Jules. Fadi is a fairly new artist who comes from Hungary. This young new talent was swept up by a man who never seems to pick the wrong people when it comes to pure talent, Laidback Luke. Fadi uses his piano skills to finally sound somewhat different as opposed to many other artists who choose to copy Avicii’s style. Fadi offers great basslines and different piano harmonies that just make you feel sooo HAPPY! I also included a Martin Volt & Le Que remix who offer a much more drummy approach, ENJOY!
Skyler Grey’s incredible voice teamed up with the upcoming star R3hab’s production has been gaining the support of big names like Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, & many more. It wasn’t until R3hab produced “Prutataa” with Afrojack that his name began to be brought up amongst house music’s elite. However, R3hab has continued to producer quality tracks this year, while showing how all around of a producer he really is. His other latest single with Swanky Tunes “Sending My Love” is another heavily supported track by many producers. R3hab is definitely paving his way towards the main stage, and we are all witnesses, ENJOY!
Well its about time Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa received great recognition from none other than Steve Angello. The upcoming Russian stars have released the two tracks “Smolengrad” and “United” along side their tag team partners Hard Rock Sofa. I would have to say both tracks seem pretty EPIC to me, with hard drums and powerful synths throughout the track. ****BOMB ALERT****…I usually wait until the end of the post to stress how great a given track is, but I couldn’t wait with this one. De Leon & Gum Me, are two German producers who no one really knows about. The two sleeper producers have been recognized by the great Fedde Le Grand, and in no time they will without a doubt be recognized greatly in the EDM world. “Awake” deserves “EPIC” status and will be released through Big & Dirty Records. Their simple piano intro leads into a moving and powerful melody with a little twist of dub sounds, that lead into a DANGEROUSLY AMAZING drop that will shake dance floors around the world, ENJOY!
If you though Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites” couldn’t get any harder, this soundcloud is here to show you the truth! Noisia’s remix showed up on Skrillex’s soundcloud about a month ago and offers a nice twist in the intro, and a different but still HARDCORE dubstep drop. It is actually very impressive how Noisia includes so many of this own sounds and blends it so nicely with the original. Definitely the best remix out, ENJOY!
Kaskade has moved his way up to being one of the top tier producers today. The Chicago native has recently remixed Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites”, and has now came out with an incredible single of his own ft. Mindy Gledhill. Doesn’t look like Sidney Samson is taking a minute to come up for water. Remix after remix, single after single, banger after banger! “Duplex” is Samson’s latest banger that includes a little bit of progressive & electro house.
