The queen of house music vocals has been on a tear since the turn of the new year. Her voice is contagiously addictive and her talent in my opinion exceeds any house music vocalist out there. Her track with Alex Kenji & Starkillers offers everything you want in a great House song. The rest of the tracks are pretty different from the usual. I have gathered a bunch of progressive & hard beats from various artists, let me know what you think. ENJOY!
Unfortunately I’m 16 (btw almost 17 in about a month… for everyone about to make a comment about my age). This brings up lots of problems like homework, tests, and quizzes. It’s funny how it’s all related to school though, well now you can see what my life revolves around. I’m trying to squeeze fromdjs into my daily schedule but between chemistry, pre-calculus, and American history it’s a lot harder than I would’ve imagined. Well without further delay, here’s my newest post. These songs are all songs that have Latin or African-ish influences, hope you enjoy!
BRAAAAVOOO, thats all I have to say about the man in the hooded fur jacket. His name is Michael Woods, a young talented star that Deadmau5 was able to find and sign to Mau5 records. His latest track that I am posting is called “First Aid”. The build up is so epic it reminds me of Strobe and the drop is so hard at the same time. Very similar style to Deadmau5 who can sometimes trick you from going from beautiful melodic chords to hardcore electro house. The rest of this post includes MANY MANY MANY bangers. I would say some of my favorite music I downloaded in 2011 so far is in this post so, ENJOY!!
Here are two favorites of mine Chris Brown & Benny Benassi. Both of them are incredible performers and artists in their respective fields and came together to bring a club hit called “Beautiful People”. I got some electrifying remixes of T-Pain & Pitbulls track “Hey Baby” as well as some originals, one by Richard Grey that I’m really feeling lately. ENJOY!
Born in the Philippines & raised in the Netherlands, Laidback Luke is a born SUPERSTAR. After crushing it with his first Essential Mix on BBC radio in 2008, followed by his “End of 2010 Mix”, Laidback Luke decided to treat us all with another banging essential mix. The mix includes everything from Dubstep, Techno, House, & Tribal. He is so good at mixing so many genres of music LBL just never seems to stop blowing everyone’s minds! Here is what Laidback Luke had to say about the mix.
Laidback Luke: “It’s so amazing I get to do an Essential Mix again! It was on a very short notice though so gave me little time to prepare! I took the oportunity to dive into my old hard drive and pick out the essence of tracks that make my sound what it is today. I hope you’ll get an insight and understanding … Read more
Hey guys, I owe everyone a HUGE apology for the lack of posts over the past 2 weeks. There has been a lot going on and I have to admit I have been enjoying myself a bit too much, going to see Tiesto, Ingrosso, Wolfgang, and many other producers spinning all around NYC. Well to make up for it I am going to give you a 22 track post. May seem overwhelming but I am not going to describe them this time and you will have a Download All link at the bottom of the post. As usual, I do not include a single mediocre song in my posts so download them all! Sorry for letting you guys wait so long I promise you will love these tracks they are all straight FIREEE! PLEASE COMMENT I would love to see what you guys have to say about the tracks, ENJOY!… Read more
Afrojack keeps on doing it! I was checking out my twitter and I saw Ian Carey tweet @Afrojack and thanking him for remixing his original track “Last Night”. Here is a preview because the song hasn’t released yet but DAMN you can really tell that this song is going to be HUGE at raves, clubs, and dance floors all around the world!… Read more
GET EXCITED FOR THIS ONE! I am as pumped as a person could get..why you may ask? Because I am going to see Tiesto live this weekend and after hearing his latest remix to Katy Perry’s song “E.T” I can BARELY wait any longer! Tiesto’s drop is probably the most magical and euphoric drop of 2011. I have also included a few bonus tracks at the bottom, one edit which comes from a friend of mine Jared Berkey aka “Bizerkey”. He has been traveling a lot as of late and he made a great edit of “Oh Yeah” by Swankey Tunes with “Leave The World Behind You”, DOWNLOAD EVERY TRACK!!
Micha Moor is a very young and talented producer coming out of Germany. Here is an enormous video showing his incredible production skills with the talented house vocalist Terri B. Micha Moor has been a musician since he was a kid which led to his first breakthrough production “Break My World”, followed by this beauty “Keep On Rising”. I provided a download link as well, enjoy!
Steve Angello & Alex Metric combined two of their distinct styles to create, in my opinion, the biggest release of 2011 yet! Alex Metric brings in the 80′s disco house style, while Steve Angello drops his hard beats. Their two styles compliment each other sort of like Yin & Yang, one light & one DARK. As for the rest of the post, the usual BANGERS!
