Qulinez – Troll (Original Mix) (register & login to view link)

Alexander Lager and Johannes Gustafsson, AKA Qulinez, are two young producers hailing from Varberg, Sweden, who have been making music together since 2006. Quickly catching the ear of Size Records label boss and 1/3 of super-group Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello was quickly impressed, and decided to sign Troll to his label. The duo have finally released their long awaited single on Size this week. With a scintillating combination of progressive house and electro, this record has been doing the rounds amongst the Mafia members for quite some time, featured in now legendary shows such as their sell-out gig at Madison Square Garden, last September, bringing anticipation for the song to boiling point. With absolutely infectious progressive melodies that could have been crafted by Alesso, and electro riffs that could have been put together by Zedd, these Read more

Nicky Romero – Generation 303 (register & login to view link)

Arguably this years biggest EDM star already, Nicky Romero has been prolific in his output of consistently brilliant remixes, edits and remixes. Kicking it all off was last years most bootlegged tracked, Romero’s remix of Flash, by Green Velvet. He followed that up with his first major original release on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records, with the title we all know well now, Camorra. At this point, people really began to sit up and take notice of this young Dutchman, who followed up Camorra with major remixes of David Guetta and Usher’s Without You, and then Alesso’s Titanium. He capped off an already outstanding 2011 with another original track, arriving at our ears under the title Toulouse. Combining his anthemic and euphoric synths with hard, electro drops, Romero was quickly making a name for Read more

Together (Original Mix) – Chuckie  (register & login to view link)

This one mans rise to the top of EDM through his damaging use of signature sound “Dirty Dutch” is simply remarkable. In 2011, Chuckie released track after track of absolute bangers (What Happens In Vegas, Who Is Ready To Jump, Mutfakta) and a whole gang of remixes (way to0 many to name, highlights include his remix of Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds, his We Found Love remix, and Kelly Rowland’s Down For Whatever). This original track is no different, featuring a huge build up of vocals, piano chords and 4/4 kicks, hanging in suspense before dropping in to a mind melting bass driven beat, featuring his Dirty Dutch electro bleeps that we all know and love. He is certainly a versatile producer, and this track reminds me of some of his earlier workCombined with Read more

Porter Robinson is a 19 year old music prodigy who has used his seemingly infinite talent to create energetic, bassy, and crazy electro-house bangers for the past year, catapulting him to a place where he was opening on a regular basis for Tiësto on his American college tour. He has had several releases on Skrillex’s label OWSLA, and at such a young age, looks to be set for big things. This Essential Mix live from Hull in the UK is definitely one of my favourites that the legend Pete Tong has aired: it’s got all of Robinson’s hits on, and some massive bootlegs and new remixes. Check it out!

Roscoe Dash – Good Fucking Night (Chuckie Smash Crank Bootleg) (register & login to view link)

Another amazing remix put out by Dj Chuckie, one can only expect a great track from a Dj with a caliber like Clyde Sergio Narains‘. Dj Chuckie keep the intro to this track as close the orginal as possible, only to keep the crowd on their toes for the chorus. The chorus reveals Clyde’s true Dirty Dutch roots, as the build up approaches you realize this is not the orginal track nor anything close, this Read more

After Tommy Trash‘s massive remix to the killer colab by Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party. We now have Dada Life and Angger Dimas’ remixes to another crazy colab Prutataaa between Dutch mastermind Afrojack, and up and comer DJ R3hab. Keeping in tune with the original, both artists keep the banger mentality in mind with their mixes. Dada Life‘s remix maintains their crazy electro style and drops a track that is nothing short of fantastic. Angger Dimas’ remix is an absolute killer, my favorite of the two, it sounds insane. The electro-house tendencies in this track go even as far as to out pace Dada Life‘s, in my opinion these Read more

Zedd – Slam The Door (Original Mix) (register & login to view link)

In his second high profile release in a span of 3 months the German DJ and producerZeddis killing it. After the release of the massive trackStars Come out a couple of weeks ago.Zeddhas moved over to a heavier approach. Dropping the euphoric vocals for a violent sounding middle aged man, which he managed to implement perfectly. InZedd – Slam The Door (Original Mix)the build ups are euphoric and the drops completely change the vibe of the build ups into some hard hitting jams.Zedd – Slam The Door (Original Mix) is probably best dropped along other harder soundingElectroorDub-Steptracks.

As Always, Good Listening,
