The attack of the clones continues with this genre defying banger. The mixture of anthem, dutch, and dubstep synths wrapped in a contrasting battle between sweet disney lullaby and grimy Saw III imagery guarantees to keep the crowd guessing with hands in the air.
And don’t miss this crazy HouseLifeTv video from Milk n Cookies tour.
One of the leading pioneers of the breakthrough genreMoombhatonhas released his first EP, Something, Something, AwesomeonSkrillex‘s already prolific label,OWSLA. Filled with bass heavy productions and crisp riffs, this is the perfect offering for all you dub-heads and banging-beat lovers. Including a collaboration withKill The Noise, who also featured on Skrillex’sBangarang EP, this is a strong offering, and something that anyone who loves the genre should go ahead and download.
I have been playing both the original mix and the remix of this brilliant Nero track for a few weeks now. The original is really funky and rich in nice vocal layering and choppy, slapping bass lines. It is brilliant for gigs where big room house is not the order of the day, but alternative, bassy, party tunes are. Highly recommended.
The Funkagenda remix will leave you speechless if you play it from start to finish. This is not surprising really, when one considers Funkagenda’s canon of work, stretching from the classic Man With The Red Face with tech-house legend Mark Knight, to working with the Black Eyed Peas on hits such as I Gotta Feeling. Building up with relentlessly driving bass and vocal samples galore, Funkagenda ratchets up the tension to breaking point, when becomes … Read more
This one mans rise to the top of EDM through his damaging use of signature sound “Dirty Dutch” is simply remarkable. In 2011, Chuckie released track after track of absolute bangers (What Happens In Vegas, Who Is Ready To Jump, Mutfakta) and a whole gang of remixes (way to0 many to name, highlights include his remix of Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds, his We Found Love remix, and Kelly Rowland’s Down For Whatever). This original track is no different, featuring a huge build up of vocals, piano chords and 4/4 kicks, hanging in suspense before dropping in to a mind melting bass driven beat, featuring his Dirty Dutch electro bleeps that we all know and love. He is certainly a versatile producer, and this track reminds me of some of his earlier work. Combined with … Read more
So, about a week or so ago I gave you guys the premiere of the absolutely huge Zedd remix ofBangarang’sstand out track, Breakn’ A Sweat. The original is already a banger that dubstep fans are loving, and this Zedd remix just takes that to a whole new level, with 3 drops throughout the song, crazy riffs and massive bass lines. I know we’ve all been waiting for the full song to drop, so we don’t have to keep listening to the Zane Lowe rip I posted, so, without further ado, I present to you, Breakn’ A Sweat, the Zedd Remix.
To honour the release of classic video game Syndicate, EA Games has commissioned the remix of the original’s 8-bit theme tune (similar to what the guys behind Mortal Kombat did last year), by 3 of the biggest names in dubstep and electro. The Skrillex remix has been floating around for a while in 128kbps, but I’ve got the 320′s here for you to enjoy. The Skrillex and Flux tracks are dirty, slower moombahton tracks, whilst the Digitalism remix is an electro house banger, like much of his previous work!
Head ofBig Fish Recordings,Lazy Richhas been anything but lazy for the last two years. He has been blowing up the charts and our speakers, with these hard hitting tracks. Lazy Richhas a number of track which madeTop tenon BeatportandTrackItDown, this remix ofBody Workis currently at spot 27 on beatport, but sure enough watch it climb the list to top ten. The Future is definitely bright for this quickly rising star, I think we are all eager to hear whats next from Lazy Rich.
Another amazing remix put out byDj Chuckie, one can only expect a great track from a Dj with a caliber likeClyde Sergio Narains‘. Dj Chuckiekeep the intro to this track as close the orginal as possible, only to keep the crowd on their toes for the chorus. The chorus reveals Clyde’s trueDirty Dutchroots, as the build up approaches you realize this is not the orginal track nor anything close, this … Read more
Right of his latest release Sex, Drugs, and Rock N Roll a few days ago. Tommy Trash dropped his killer remix to Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party‘s massive track Antidote. Keeping in line with his usual heavy style, Tommy Trash past releases such as his remix to Alive and his own track The End, influences can be heard through out the remix. This heavy Electro track is as with Zedd best dropped with other Electro tracks of its style, preferably just before one with a little less kick.
