DJ Djuro is a little known artist from Austria. He has not produced a lot of well known tracks, but his remix of “Trumpsta” is one beat to be noticed. As indicated by its title, Djuro shapes this beat to trumpet sounding which he varies with bass and synths. The beat is more low key but is one that is groovy and a dance club hit. The lyrics inserted in the middle of the song are enticing and the song overall will give a very unique sound to any set.
Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa are two individual DJ groups that have collaborated to produce unforgettable tracks. Most recently, they produced the hit track, “Here We Go”, which has garnered support by the likes of Swedish House Mafia. Back in action, they are back with a similar hard hitting remix of the well-known Calvin Harris hit, “Let’s Go”. Their world renown amped up style is built up by a huge, fast paced guitar riff that definitely gets the crowd going. Give it a listen and comment on what you think!
I am sure most of you have already heard of DJ Alvaro already, but I feel that his presence needs to be me known on this website. Alvaro is the definition of Dirty Dutch. In fact, his beats are the dirtiest ever produced. His focus on grinding, bumping isolated beats gets the crowd going. Instead of producing big house tracks or heavy, static bass drops, Alvaro is all about iso beats that can be either bass or synth heavy. But isolations are his forte. His tracks are more club/dance catered rather than festival oriented, but this specialization is what makes Alvaro the best at what he does. I have provided you guys with some his best tracks – some oldies and his most recent hit single “Make The Crowd Go.”
Julian Jordan and Martin Garrix, the two youngsters of Spinning Records, the future of the house genre, have teamed together to release a bass heavy banger, BFAM. October, the month of teaser trailer of samples, is really setting up November up really well. Speaking for BFAM, the song is very indicative of Julian Jordan’s bass heavy drop with a synth melodic build up. The track is set to release on November 12th, and we will have the full track for you on that date!
Today, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike released their trailer of their new banger, “Madness”, to celebrate their goal of reaching 700,000 followers on Facebook. This song has every characteristic of a big room anthem. With its melodic synths followed by what sounds like a deep drum beat (very unique sound) and Lil Jon’s vocals to amp up the song, all the artists on this track have really designed it to be a future anthem. The full track will be released November 20th but until then we have this teaser to fulfill our ears wants.
Tom Fall is a DJ from Finland and he has up and coming with a lot of potential. He has a style of hard, deep beats with a heavy bass in the background. His remix of Where Did You Go is a beat to get the crowd amped and energetic. Check it out, and I also have added his remix of Armin’s which has a similar feel.
Sultan and Ned Shepard are back at it again with their very uplifting soothing style. If you are not familiar with the duo, they are the producers who created “Walls” which received recognition from DJ’s all over the world. This song has a very similar sound to their previous track. Taryn Manning’s beautiful voice perfectly complements the light synth beat that follows it. I have also included R3hab’s remix of this song in which he adds his high energy electro style to the song to make it a club banger.
Revealed Records has been on a roll lately with interesting new artists to the EDM industry. Some of Hardwell’s creations include Michael Woods, Dannic, and Dyro. Most recently, Paris and SIMO have made it onto the scene with their release of Nova. This song has a catchy, distorted beat with a thumping bass in the background. It is a little monotone, but it is a great song to include in a set for a minute or so.
Jaz Von D is a relatively new DJ on the scene but this song has been rocking clubs and the charts since the end of June. The song has the routinely seen combination of the progressive, synth heavy beat leading up to a drop that reveals a heavy bass rhythm. Even though this progression is commonplace in today’s house genre, Jaz Von D does it better than most in “Rave Nation” making a must download song.
This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend Juicy New York: Robbie Rivera And Friends at Governor’s Island organized by Made Event. I arrived around 6PM when Paige was spinning. There were a good amount of ravers present at that time, but most were not in the tent but instead getting prepared (or boozed up) for the main event while others were resting up until the night really began.
The theme of the beach party is a wonder in itself. The environment it presents (alongside the water, sand everywhere) makes this party unlike most raves (better than most raves). The tent started crowding up during EDX’s set and was completely packed by the time Robbie Rivera took the stage. The music played by EDX and the artists before him were geared more towards heavy electro music while Robbie Rivera played a set with a great mix of … Read more
