  2. How do I become a contributor?
    • Please fill out a talent app, we are always looking for fun, dedicated, and passionate DJs & music lovers to join our A-Team!
  3. Is this site ONLY for DJs?
    • Not at all! It’s for anyone in the world who is passionate about Electronic Dance Music!”
  4. How did FromDJs4DJs get started?
    • It all started with the passion and constant dedication to sharing music with others. We wanted to create an easy sharing platform and community for DJs and music lovers alike. With the help, dedication, and passion of other DJs from around the world, the site blossomed and grew rapidly in popularity. There has been over 3,000 dedicated hours of work and coding into the site which is why it looks as it does today! Everything was done, unpaid, in the wee hours of the night, with the constant motivation of comments and feedback we received daily. So we thank you (yes YOU reading this right now) for supporting us through the years and helping us become one of the best Electronic Music Blogs around the world!

  8. How can I get onto the DJ Database?
    • If you are a hardworking DJ and understand the importance of online marketing and social media, we encourage you to contact us. We are constantly giving exposure to our DJs through Facebook and Twitter posts, showcasing their latest mixes on our SoundCloud, priority access to release any new track or mix through the homepage of our site or our DJ Forum. By entering our DJ Database, you also enter into our DJ VIP list – when we receive requests for DJs in your area, you will be at the very top of the list.
    • Each request must be approved through our A-Team. The criteria they search for is: Ability to market yourself online (Logo, Website, SoundCloud, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter Page, YouTube, number of Fans, Followers, & Plays), mixing ability, establishment as a DJ (do you already work at clubs, are you a mobile DJ, do you DJ house parties, etc…).
    • The DJ Database is an annual membership of only $99. If we can help get you booked for 1 gig in 1 year, it will pay itself off. We do this for a living, let us help you, contact us now.

  10. How can I search your website by Category or Genre?
  11. What if I am ONLY looking for Avicii songs?
    • On the upper right of our sidebar, you can search for any Artist you want.
    • On the bottom right of our sidebar, the Tag Cloud shows all the most popular keywords and Artists we write about. By clicking the name, you will see all the posts associated.
    • You can also add the artist name at the end of the tag URL, for example: http://www.fromdjs4djs.com/tag/avicii/ OR http://www.fromdjs4djs.com/tag/afrojack/ will show you all the posts for Avicii or Afrojack.
  12. How do I register to the site and what do I get for registering?
    • By registering, you become an official member of the FromDJs4DJs family! As a family member, you unlock the following benefits:
      • Unblocked access to all links on the site
      • Unblocked access to some of our “Private Pages”  and “Private Posts” we don’t want the outside world to know about! You will see these popup on the homepage every so often and say “PRIVATE” next to them.
      • First access to any free ticket giveaways to events in your area.
      • Monthly email containing the best download links of the month (with some extra goodies too!).

  13. How do we join your blogroll and links on the sidebar of your site?
    • We are always looking for more partners! Please contact us as soon as possible and include: Website description, # of unique visitors a month, # of pageviews a month, social media links, and any other info you feel is necessary.
  14. Are these songs free or legal?
    • All the music posted on our site are for sampling purposes ONLY. The record labels and artists would like DJs to listen to them and hopefully buy their track so they can start playing them at their local parties. You may download these songs but must remove them from your computer within 24 hours as they are for promotional use only. If you like them, we encourage you to support the Artists and purchase their tracks (iTunes, Beatport, etc…). We hold no responsibility for any illegal usage of the musical content. If you would like us to remove your song, please contact us  and it will be removed. Thank you.
  15. I am an Artist Manager, Record Label, or PR Agency and want to send you some tracks to post on your site.
  16. How do I promote my upcoming event?
    • Please contact us with details about your event, the number of backstage/press/media passes, the number of tickets you would like to give away as a competition, and the link for people to purchase tickets online.
    • We offer many different types of paid and unpaid event promotion – please contact us for more info, we would love to help!
  17. I am a DJ/Producer and want my latest mix or track featured on your site.
    • You may post your tracks for free in the Self-Promotion section of our DJ Forum.
    • We also offer the following paid promotional packages for serious DJs & Producers looking to gain a new audience, build a new fanbase, and get exposure to thousands of people around the world:
    • Every submission must be approved by our A-Team before being eligible for promotion. They will look for: How well the mix or remix is put together and  the genre of music (must be the same genre our fans love, EDM!). If you feel that your content matches our description, please contact us now.
