Artist Bio: Having grown up listening to nearly every genre of music, Jacob Kent transferred his immense passion for music to a new avenue and began DJing in the summer of 2010. Immediately making a name for himself amongst the NYC nightlife scene, Jacob locked down the Saturday night residency at Time Square’s Aspen Social and began spinning at many other noteworthy NYC hot-spots such as Hudson Terrace, La Pomme and Room Service. There are no boundaries to the genres of music that Jacob will incorporate into his mixes and his diverse passion for music ranges from electro-house to old school hip hop to classic rock. For Jacob, spinning is not about the glamor of being DJ or popping bottles in a club–it is about the ability to share music with others and connect with the crowd through his pure love of music.
After a successful summer of DJing in NYC, Jacob made his international debut on a 10 day tour of Europe, spinning several venues in Barcelona and Florence. Jacob has also played for thousands of spring breakers in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
More recently, Jacob has built upon his name, playing at venues including Tenjune, Juliet, Lexicon and even the world-renowned Pacha.
