DJ & Producer Dean Anthony

DJ and Music Producer “Dean Anthony”, is one of the brightest new stars emerging from the talented UK House & Progressive scene, gaining support from some of the biggest name’s in the business , Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Ernesto & Bastian, Andy Moor & Marco V, are just a few of the A Listers dropping Dean’s tracks on a regular basis.

From House to Progressive & Trance, Breaks to Drum & Bass, we found out a bit more about the man with a love for EDM.

The beginning:

It all started in 2008, Dean was given parts for a track to remix, he hadn’t been making music that long so never thought anything would happen with the track or even get accepted by the label, but surprisingly it did!

In 2009 Dean made breakbeat with a friend under the alias of “Guerilla Tech”  The duo having a great first year and topping the breaks charts decided to spilt to continue with there solo projects.

After almost 6 months away from the studio, Dean launched his first solo artist track in February this year. “TechOne” was an instant hit to tech house lovers and has since fuelled a string of releases on high profile labels like Ferry Corstens “Flashover Records” & Marco V’s “In Charge” imprint.

Although having found a sound that suited it him in the progressive genre, that hasn’t stopped Dean from trying new sounds and styles. Earlier this year Dean produced his first Drum & Bass track which managed to get BBC Radio 1 airplay and has since also found time to collaborate with other producers & vocalists on some new main room House material which should be hitting dancefloors soon.

But, the main reason were spotlighting Dean Anthony right now, is for the work he has done on his latest single, collaborating with vocalist “Bonse” and tearing down the walls of what’s acceptable vocally for a trance track….This time we see it done right, house chord stabs, beautiful pads, a feel good progressive breakdown with a huge riff and a vocal hook to die for……

”Crazy But It’s True”  has stamped its mark on Dean Anthony‘s young but bright career, one to watch?….we think so.
