Hypem.com is without a doubt my most powerful weapon in finding tunes.
1. Create a Hypem.com account
2. Search for your favorite producers and click Follow on the right panel.
So if you search Diplo and click Follow when you click Latest and My Subscriptions it will automatically gather all the Diplo songs that have been blogged!
Wanna be up to date on moombahton? Search “moombahton” and click Follow, then under My Subscriptions all the blogged songs with moombahton in the name will automatically show up in your My Subscriptions feed!
3. Find a really amazing song from a blog on Hypem? Starting to notice you find a lot of your songs from certain blogs? Well, click the blog hyperlink and then click Follow! Guess what, now all the songs blogged from that bad ass blog will also show up in My Subscriptions! Easy!
3A. Click Blog Directory to find blogs you might want to follow and use the tags to help filter through them.
3B. When you find a killer song you might wonder what blogs blogged about it. Luckily Hypem also does this for you. Click the hyperlink that states how many blogs blogged the song: eg. “Posted by 5 blogs” This helps you find more blogs that post songs you enjoy.
4. Especially while you’re starting up being a Hypem Power User you’ll miss big tunes simply because you’re not Following that up-and-coming producer yet. Now you’ll minimize this by Following your favorite blogs, but let’s be perfectionists and get as close to 100% of all the bangin tunes that are out there. There’s a few ways to do this:
4A: Click Latest then switch the tab to All Blogs.
4B: Click Popular and flip through the tabs: Song Chart, Artist Chart, Twitter Chart
5. A helpful tip is to use the Filter menu to select: All, Songs, or Blogs to refine what appears in your My Subscriptions feed.
