After all the attention David Guetta & Co. received for their incredible single (instrumental more incredible), the torch has now been passed down to two progressive veterans Fedde Le Grand & Norman Doray. ***Extra to the application for those applicants who want to become contributors to the blog, under COMMENTS, please post and critique the two remixes and how you feel about them***

In my opinion, out of these two offerings the Normal Doray track is by far the stronger remix. Whilst they both add nice elements of Taio Cruz’s now familiar club-ready vocals, the Fedde Le Grand remix relies very heavily on the over-riding lead synth that David Guetta masterly crafted in the original mix. Admittedly, he does insert an interesting electro drop, but it is too simple and too uninspiring to really make his track stand out. Fedde’s remix is trying to sound too much like the classic work of our favourite mafiosos from Sweden: Swedish House Mafia’s “One”. On the other hand, Norman Doray’s remix re-arranges the original synth progression to make the work his own, and much more fun because of it. On top of that, he builds up Taoi’s vocals and Guetta’s euphoric synths to a MASSIVE and really surprising progressive drop about half way through the song, that I didn’t expect at all!

    For me, it’s:

    #1 Norman Doray
    #2 David Guetta (Instrumental Remix)
    #3 Fedde Le Grand
    #4 David Guetta (Vocal Mix)
