What’s up everybody…Jacob Kent checking in and it’s been a bit of time since my last post but David, Danny, Ben and all the other great contributors have definitely been holdin’ things down without question…Just after my first post and mix (register & login to view link), I left the country to spin some parties out in Barcelona and Florence..More recently, I was down in Mexico spinning spring break and it was pretty wild to say the least..You can check out 2 videos here (register & login to view link)and here (register & login to view link)..There is definitely something special about spring break and this inspired my latest mix, Spring Break State of Mind (register & login to view link) , a commercial-electro mix of some really popular tracks that I think you will all enjoy.. In addition to this mix, you can download a few individual tracks that I’m really feelin right now.. A nice variety of everything ranging from electro to commercial and dub to mashups..Enjoy!

Magnetic Man feat. Katy B-Perfect Stranger (Steve Angello Mix) (register & login to view link) An already beautiful track, Steve Angello kicks it up a few notches as only he could. Insane build-up accompanied with gorgeous vocals at 2 minutes with a perfect drop at around 3 minutes. Overall, an absolutely genius production. Can’t wait to see him in just a few days at the Masquerade Motel! (register & login to view link)

Lookback-Bianka (Original Mix) (register & login to view link)Not an artist nor a song I was particularly familiar with until recently. But, all it took was one listen to realize what I had just heard..I can’t help but to think this song had to be inspired by No Speak Americano. Great beat, with throwback European style vocals just like from Americano. When you think it can’t get any better, incredible instrument drop at 2:17 followed by another great drop. This song is FIRE!

Katy Perry-California Gurls (DJ From Mars Mix) (register & login to view link) I’m a huge Katy Perry fan and I am not afraid to admit–I love everything about her. Even more, I love how well her vocals lend themselves to banging electro remixes. I was a big fan of the Armand Van Helden mix of California Gurls, but I recently came across this mix, which adds a hard bassline with a catchy chorus that is mashed with Van Halen’s Jump, followed by a sickkkkkk drop.

Bruno Mars-Grenade (Jay Velar Mix) (register & login to view link) Absolutely sick of this song? Yea, I thought I was too until I heard this insane electro refix. Real nice build as Bruno’s vocals are laid over a progressive beat with a nasty drop at 1:24 followed by a perfect accompaniment of the hook at just under 2 minutes.

The Beatles-Eleanor Rigby (4Centers Dubstep Mix) (register & login to view link) As a HUGE fan of The Beatles, I am generally pretty against any remixing of their work, much less a dub mix. So, you know this track has to be pretty tight for me to be listening to it, much less passing it on for all of you to check out.

Britney Spears/Afrojack feat. Eva Simons-Hold It Under Control (DJ Deville Mash) (register & login to view link) Sick of Hold It Against Me? Even sicker of Take Over Control? Me too. But when I heard the mash of the two, I could not help but to post it. Britney’s vocals mesh perfectly with Afrojack’s beat, which then ultimately goes back into the original Britney beat. NICE!
